| Donner Summit is the snowiest place in the United States where people live year round. Over 500 inches of snow falls annually on Donner summit. Our Lodge is located at 7000 feet, and during the winter it becomes a skiers' paradise. With close proximity to skiing, a warm fireplace, a large kitchen where guests can cook their own food and a community environment makes the Cal Lodge an ideal place for anyone interested in winter recreation, or visiting a mountain retreat. |
